Carlow County Council 4-week Farming Roots Programme for young people with farming in their roots — TAMS Farm Safety Course (Teagasc), Manual Handling (Barrow Training), Tractor Driving for ages 14-16 (FRS), and First Aid Training. 12 places available. Programme planned from the week of 21 September to 19 October, with a Graduation & Health Information Day to follow. Participants must register and have a DAFM identifier/Herd Number or an approved link to a farming family.
