A 12km circular mountain walk from Ballycrystal (5–6 hours, max altitude 795m) past the Moats of Craan and the Turfcutters Shed, led by a Mountain Adventures guide. Registration 8.30am at Rathanna Hall; bus transport; soup, sandwiches, tea and coffee after. Very experienced hill walkers only. Booking essential — tickets via Carlow Tourism.
