The Carlow Social Prescribing Service, based at St Catherine's Community Services Centre Carlow, is a new free support that aims to reduce social isolation and improve people's health and wellbeing. They can give you information on social groups, exercise classes, relaxation sessions, volunteering opportunities, support services and more, all in your local area. Learning for Everyday Life Programme
St Catherine's Community Services Centre Learning for Everyday Life Programme — for anyone wanting to return to education, meet new people, gain new skills, build confidence and self-esteem. Suited to those with less than a Leaving Certificate level of education and/or in receipt of social welfare. Monday-Friday 9:45am-1:00pm, course runs September to March (QQI Level 3 Major Award in General Learning). To apply, phone Andrea on 059 9138706.
